Welcome to Auvergne

Welcome to Auvergne, one of the largest unspoiled areas of Europe, for an amazing journey through an outstanding natural landscape, volcanoes, beautiful villages, thermal springs and gastronomic traditions.

A magnificent, green region, Auvergne boasts many attractions. Its five mountain ranges offer nature lovers a wealth of activities and excitement, a boundless area for leisure and exploration.

Auvergne is the perfect place for a picnic on the banks of one of its many lakes carved out of volcanic stone, or a hike along sometimes hidden trails, or a visit to a medieval chateau or a hot thermal spring. Extreme sports enthusiasts can enjoy a parachute jump or paragliding on Puy Mary in the Cantal while visitors who enjoy calm and are looking for a change of scenery will delight in a hot air balloon flight over the famous Puy de Dôme and the Puy mountain range.

A rich geographical area, Auvergne is also known for its gastronomic delights.
